Police on Saturday were searching for three suspects who brandished a gun and robbed a woman near the University of California, Berkeley. The three suspects surrounded the woman just after 8:25 p.m. on Friday in the 2400 block of Bowditch Street, about a block away from People's Park, according to the University of California Police Department. One of the suspects " displayed a gun" before the three took the woman's cellphone and purse, then fled the scene in a black sedan resembling an Audi, police said.
